Challenge #48 - Sketch

Happy Thursday!  It's time for another sketch challenge here at CAS - Colours and Sketches.  Here is what Patricia has drawn up for us this week:

Those curves look fun, don't they?!  Although the sketch was created as an A2 card (5.5" x 4.25"), you're welcome to reconfigure it into a square if you'd like.  You may also turn the sketch on its side.  As long as we can easily see the half-circle and the circle elements, and your card follows our usual challenge guidelines outlined below, your work will be considered for our honors voting.

Challenge #47 - Colours

Hello!  The third Thursday of the month means it's time for another color challenge here at CAS - Colours and Sketches.  Patricia is our hostess again, and here are our colors this time:

I've chosen the pale pink and rose pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, and decided to add a dark coffee brown along with them.  The Stampin' Up color names are only for reference; you do NOT need to use Stampin' Up products to make your cards for our challenges.  Simply use whatever you have in your craft supplies that is closest to these colors.  Please keep in mind that you are only permitted to use the colors provided - no other colors please except cream or white for your base and black ink for outlines and sentiments.

Hello again!  We're glad to have you visit our challenge blog, and we hope you'll join in and play along with us!

Patricia is our hostess again this week, and she's drawn up this sketch for us:

The sketch is designed for an A2 card (5.5" x 4.25"), but if you prefer to make square cards, feel welcome to tweak it!  You're also welcome to turn the sketch on its side if you'd like.  So long as you retain the basic elements of the triangular panels with the block over top of them, you're good to go.

Challenge #45 - Colours

Hello everyone!  It's Patricia here, and I'm excited to be your challenge hostess for the month of October!

We're going to start the month off with a color challenge:

 

These colors have a special meaning to me.  Today my husband and I are celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary!  Our bridesmaids wore ruby red dresses, and the men in the wedding party wore charcoal grey tuxedos.  So I've chosen colors that best represent the wedding colors.  I threw the light blue in there for "something blue".  Soft Sky is one of my favorite Stampin' Up colors of all time and I'm super happy that they brought it back into the product line! 

As always, you do NOT need to use Stampin' Up products to make your cards for our challenges.  Simply use whatever you have in your craft supplies that is closest to these colors.  We'd love to see what you create!

Now, how about some inspiration from the Design Team?  Jacqueline is taking a well-deserved break for a little while, and we wish her all the best.  We are delighted to have Lizy joining our team - she's been a frequent participant in our challenges, and we love her work!
