Hi everyone, thanks so much for joining us again. You'll be glad to see that I'm back with a much easier sketch for you to work with this week. When I drew it my mind went immediately to Christmas trees but as you can see from the DT's cards we didn't all take that route! 

Please feel free to flip or rotate the sketch when creating your card but make sure that we can see the original sketch in your design and remember to keep it CAS!

Challenge #146: Colours

Hi everyone! OK, so Autumn has now finally arrived in the UK with chilly nights, morning mists and everyone busy planning their Halloween and Bonfire Night events. 

I've noticed some amazing colours in the leaves on my drive to work in the early mornings so this week, I've chosen an autumnal colour palette for you.  We've used Stampin' Up colour names for reference; however, you may use any companies' products for your cards as long as you match our colours as closely as possible. You may also use neutral colours; white, ivory, kraft or black, for your card base and layers, for image outlines, or for sentiments. However, in order to be considered for our weekly winners spot, you must not use any other colours.

Weekly Winners: Colour Challenge #144

Challenge #145: Sketch

Welcome to our first sketch challenge for October. It's clear that many crafters are turning their thoughts to Christmas as we had lots of wonderfully festive entries for last week's challenge. We send a lot of cards in our house and as I work full-time, I know that I just do not have enough time to make all my cards. So I make a few for carefully selected family members and good friends and refuse to beat myself up because I don't make them for everyone else!

What will you do with this week's sketch? Will it inspire you to make a Christmas tag card? Please feel free to flip or rotate the sketch when designing your card.  You could also stretch it out into a rectangle if you choose.

Challenge #144: Colours

Hi everyone! It's Stef here, your hostess for a brand new month of challenges at CAS Colours & Sketches. We have had some gorgeous late summer weather in the UK this last couple of weeks so we're not quite ready for the mists and chilliness of Autumn just yet! Having said that, my DT card is a Christmas card, lol!

My favourite colour is teal, now is that blue or is it green? Not too sure on that one but this week I have chosen a blue colour palette with a regal touch for you to work with. Weekly Winners - Colour Challenge #142
