Challenge #551 - colours

 Hello crafters and welcome to a new year of CAS colour and sketch challenges! 

We can't wait to create some amazing cards and hope you will be inspired to join in with us. We'll be making a small adjustment to a fortnightly schedule, so every other Tuesday we'll kick off a new challenge alternating a colours challenge with a sketch challenge, posting at 7am Eastern US time.

This is Rachel and I'm happy to be your host for this month. The first challenge is a colours challenge. For our colour challenges, you must use all of the stated challenge colours. You may also use neutral colours; however, the challenge colours should be the most noticeable ones featured on your card. We use Stampin' Up colour names for reference, but you are welcome to use any other companies' products as long as you match the challenge colours as closely as possible.

And now, a bit of news.  After nearly 10 years in this position, Patricia is resigning as manager of the CAS Colours & Sketches challenges.  Rachel has graciously offered to take over the position and will keep the site running.  You will see a few changes in operations around here, but rest assured that the Clean And Simple creativity will continue!  We hope you'll join us in our first challenge of 2025 starting on Tuesday, January 7. 

A Holiday Message

Hello, cardmaking friends!  It's Patricia here, the blog manager of CC&S.

On behalf of the CAS Colours & Sketches Design Team, I want to thank all of our challenge players for the support you give us by joining in our challenges each week.  *YOU* are what keeps our blog going, and we are so grateful for all of you!  It warms our hearts to see participants share their creative takes on our color combinations and sketch challenges. 

We would like to wish the happiest of holidays to all of our followers, and the best of everything to you in the coming year.  No matter what festivities you celebrate, we hope you will feel the love, wonder, peace, joy, and magic of the holiday season.

We will not be starting any more challenges this year, but we'd like to remind you that our Seasonal Challenge #550 will remain open until 6:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time Monday, December 30, 2024.  You'll see a few changes around here in 2025, but we'll be back on Tuesday, January 7 to start another year of clean and simple challenges.  Until then, take care and keep crafting!
