Challenge #159: Colours

It's Stef here, your hostess for a new month of challenges at CAS Colours and Sketches. It's cold, wet and rainy here in the UK so I thought I would brighten things up with a more cheerful set of colours to start the month.

We've used Stampin' Up colour names for reference; however, you may use any companies' products for your cards as long as you match our colours as closely as possible. Lighter and darker shades of the three challenge colours, such as derived from watercoloring an image, are allowed. You may also use white, ivory, kraft, or black for your card base and layers, for image outlines, or for sentiments. However, in order to be considered for our weekly winners, you must not use any other colours.

I thought I would squeeze in another Valentine themed card so now I have a choice of which one to give my other half! Have a look at the fabulous inspiration from the rest of the design team below to give you even more ideas:

The Design Team is pleased to introduce Stempelfrida as our Guest Designer for the month of February!  Her name was selected from among our Weekly Winners from the months of November and December.  She has been a frequent participant in our challenges throughout the last twelve months, and we're so happy to have her as our Guest Designer!  We think you'll enjoy seeing her artwork here, too.  Here is what she's created with this week's colours:

Every week we receive some entries that do not follow our challenge rules. We only have a few simple challenge requirements which are listed in the Challenge Rules tab.  Please read them very carefully before linking your card if you would like us to consider your card to be one of our weekly winners.  Happy crafting!

Challenge End Time:  6:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time/11:00 p.m. London U.K. time Wednesday 10th February 2016.
