Here at CAS Colours & Sketches we're getting ready for the upcoming holiday season by revisiting our challenges from the past 11 months and turning them into seasonal creations. As usual, we're starting off the month with a colour challenge:
You can view the graphics from all of our colour challenges by clicking on the Colour Challenges Archive tab at the top of the page. The challenges for 2016 start at Challenge #155. We've used Stampin' Up colour names for reference; however, you may use any companies' products for your cards as long as you match our colours as closely as possible. You may also use white, ivory, kraft, or black for your card base and layers, for image outlines, or for sentiments. However, in order to be considered for our Weekly Winners, you must not use any other colours.
Your seasonal card can be for Christmas, Hanukkah, or any other December holiday. If you live south of the equator and are enjoying summer, feel welcome to make a card appropriate for that!
We've noted the challenges that our Design Team members have chosen, and we ask that you do the same in your blog post when you share your card.
We had a great turn out for our Design Team call. We were able to select 5 new team members! Today we're excited to introduce a couple of our newest Design Team members! Please join us in welcoming the following:
Make sure to come back next week to welcome the remainder of our new team members!
Since we know this is a busy time for most people, we've decided to have only two challenges this month. We don't want to short change any of our guest designers from a normal term of four challenges, so we're putting our guest designer program on hold until January. Next week we'll be turning a sketch challenge from 2016 into a holiday card. Beginning December 15, we'll take a break and return with new challenges in January 2017.
Our challenge requirements are listed in the Challenge Rules tab. Please read them carefully before linking your card. Happy crafting!
Challenge End Time: 6:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time/11:00 p.m. London U.K. time Wednesday, December 7, 2016
