Challenge #576 - Colour Challenge

Happy January, clean and simple friends!  We are back with our first challenge of 2026, hosted by Nancy.  She has chosen some deep and rich colours to get your New Year creative juices flowing!

For our colour challenges, you must use all 3 challenge colours. You may also use subtle shades of brown or grey but only in support of the challenge colours, they should not be one of the featured colours on your card. We use Stampin' Up colour names for reference, but you are welcome to use any other companies' products as long as you match the challenge colours as closely as possible. 

Please remember to keep your card CAS! As a reminder, 'clean and simple' (CAS) is defined as "uncluttered, with a lot of white or open space, and minimal layers and embellishments". Subtle texture or shading is okay as long as it does not distract from the main focal point of your card.

Challenge #575 - Seasonal Challenge

Hello everyone! and welcome to our last challenge of this year. 

Firstly, please join us in welcoming our new design team member, Tracey Stevenson. Welcome Tracey! We're so happy you'll share your inspiration and gorgeous cards with us. Please take a moment to check out Tracey's blog - you will find many beautiful ideas. 

Onto the challenge, and as is tradition, we have a seasonal challenge. You can pick any CC&S colour or sketch challenge from 2025 and make a seasonal card. It can be for christmas or the holiday you celebrate, or just a winter/summer card, you'll be using the colour combo or the sketch as a prompt, or if you're feeling keen, use one of each! Make sure you tell us which challenge you're using for your card.

We know it's a busy time, so we're extending the closing time for this challenge - you'll have 3 weeks to share your lovely cards with us!

For our colour challenges, you must use all of the stated challenge colours. You may also use neutral colours; however, the challenge colours should be the most noticeable ones featured on your card. We use Stampin' Up colour names for reference, but you are welcome to use any other companies' products as long as you match the challenge colours as closely as possible. 

If using a sketch, feel free to flip or rotate the sketch when creating your card. 

Just remember to keep your card CAS!
